ABOUT US
Since 1957, SnoTemp has built a reputation of quality customer service by offering a variety of storage and value added services to meet our customers needs. With 750,000 square feet of temperature controlled storage between -20 F and +70 F, SnoTemp offers convenient storage & supply chain services for local, national and international customers.
SnoTemp Cold Storage is a family owned and operated temperature controlled public warehousing company with two facilities centrally located along I-5 in Eugene and Albany, Oregon. We are a critical link between local food processors and consumers.
OUR HISTORY
1957 – The Foundation: Paul R. Lafferty, a 10th Mountain Division veteran, recognizes a gap in the local supply chain and opens a 17,000-square-foot facility in Eugene to support Oregon’s booming agriculture.
1974 – Northward Expansion: Agriculture in the Valley explodes, leading to the birth of the SnoTemp name and our flagship Albany facility.
The Pivot – Diversification: In the late 90s, when major processors left the region, we didn't fold. We reinvented ourselves to support the emerging "natural food" and craft beverage scene that Oregon is now world-famous for.
2002 – The Third Generation: The family legacy continues as the 3rd generation join the leadership team, bringing modern technology and data-driven logistics to our foundational "boots on the ground" expertise.
2015 – Global Standards: We achieved our first BRCGS certification under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), proving that a family business can meet—and exceed—global safety benchmarks.
Today – High-Tech, High-Service: By integrating real-time tracking with a service-driven culture, we deliver top-tier warehouse standards and personalized partnership.
